The 2015 Family Medicine Midwest Conference will host students interested in as well as residents and physicians practicing in Family Medicine October 9-11 in Rosemont, Illinois. Pritzker medical students join University of Chicago Family Medicine residents and faculty in attending and presenting.

2015 Integrate Chicago Conference
The 2015 Integrate Chicago Conference was held at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine on February 7, 2015. This annual conference is organized by students enrolled in Chicagoland medical and health sciences schools and focuses on increasing awareness and understanding of integrative medicne. Our own Dr. Sonia Oyola was a keynote speaker!

Dr. Mari Egan selected for Academy of Distinguished Medical Educators
Dr. Mari Egan was named a Fellow of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine Academy of Distinguished Medical Educators at the school's Seventh Annual Medical Education Day on November 21, 2013. Fellows are selected based on significant contributions to the education of our medical students as well as recognized excellence in teaching.
New PURLs Editor-in-Chief: Dr. Kate Rowland
Dr. Kate Rowland, Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Chicago is now the Editor-in-Chief for FPIN's Priority Updates from the Research Literature (PURLs). Dr. Rowland has been involved with FPIN for many years including publishing multiple Clinical Inquiries, HelpDesk Answers, PURLs and Diving for PURLs. Read More!
NorthShore University HealthSystem Foundation Hosts Investitures for Two Endowed Chairs
Evanston, IL-- On Wednesday, August 22, 2012 NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) Foundation, the philanthropic entity for NorthShore, hosted an Investiture Ceremony recognizing two new endowed chairs. A group of more than 140 donors, physicians, care providers and administrative leaders gathered at NorthShore Evanston Hospital's Frank Auditorium to honor and celebrate the work of Bernard G. Ewigman, MD, MSPH, Chairman of the Department of Family Medicine at NorthShore and the University of Chicago, and Ernest E. Wang, MD, Medical Director of NorthShore Center for Simulation and Innovation (NCSI).
