NorthShore University HealthSystem

Headquartered in Evanston, Illinois, NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) is a comprehensive, fully integrated, healthcare delivery system that serves the Chicago and North Shore region. The system includes four hospitals in Evanston, Glenview, Highland Park and Skokie. NorthShore employs approximately 10,000 and has 2,400 affiliated physicians, including an 800-plus physician multispecialty group practice with more than 100 office locations in the NorthShore Medical Group.

NorthShore has also earned Magnet designation--the ultimate credential for high quality nursing. NorthShore is the only organization in Illinois to receive this prestigious honor as a system.

In recognition of its commitment to patient safety,NorthShore received the John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality Award for its methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) Reduction Program, acknowledging national leadership in attacking this serious threat to healthcare safety.

NorthShore has annual revenues of $1.6 billion. The integrated health system has significant capabilities in a wide spectrum of clinical programs, including cancer, heart, orthopaedics, high-risk maternity, pediatrics and its NorthShore Neurological Institute.
